About me

Megan Backman
I'm working on my secondary education credential with an endorsement in mathematics. I'm passionate about using my computer science background within my future mathematics classroom. I believe the future of this country depends on creating technologically literate students who do not solely use technology, but have the ability to create technology. I'm the mother to 2 young girls who started learning the basics of coding at 3 years old (Robot Turtles, anyone?). Follow me on Twitter @MBackmeg

Got Milk?

Wednesday, March 10, 2010

I read a few parenting blogs and today one blog is addressing the issue of running errands with multiple young children and how difficult it can be to load/unload them from the car at each stop. I only have 1 child and I already think it's difficult, especially in bad weather. This was my favorite tip from today's blog. Someday when I have a car full of young children, who knows... I may actually use this idea...

"We know one mom who needed milk so badly and couldn't deal with her melting down kids that she drove through Wendy's and ordered 10 milks to hold her over until the next day."

Now that is what I call a resourceful super-mom!
