About me

Megan Backman
I'm working on my secondary education credential with an endorsement in mathematics. I'm passionate about using my computer science background within my future mathematics classroom. I believe the future of this country depends on creating technologically literate students who do not solely use technology, but have the ability to create technology. I'm the mother to 2 young girls who started learning the basics of coding at 3 years old (Robot Turtles, anyone?). Follow me on Twitter @MBackmeg

Simply Complex

"The art of simplicity is a puzzle of complexity."

Tuesday, February 14, 2012

Lily: "Lily's packing her lunch to go bye-bye"
Mommy: "Where are you going?"
Lily: "To work"
Mommy: "Where do you work?"
Lily: "The office"
Mommy: "What do you do at the office?"
Lily: "Type on the pee-cuter"
~ Yup, that about sums up mine and Nathan's jobs, I guess.

Mommy: "It's Valentine's day, how can we show daddy how much we love him? Should we give him a card?"
Lily: "No"
Mommy: "Should we sing him a song?"
Lily: "No"
Mommy: "Should we give him a present?"
Lily: "Yes!"
Mommy: "What should we put in the present?"
Lily: "Elmo!"
~ Nothing says "I love you" more than Elmo! :)
